Here’s everything you need to know as you get ready to apply for financial assistance.

The FACTS Application

Start the process by visiting FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment to apply for financial assistance for the 2024 summer and 2024 – 2025 school year. You’ll need to have your 2023 tax return information available before you begin. Applicants only need to provide documentation once per year for the following programs: Summer Camp and Preschools.

If you’re applying for K – 8 camps, please select “JCCSF Camp” as the school. For Preschool camps, please select “JCCSF Diller Preschool Only” or “JCCSF Brotherhood Way Preschool Only” depending on the location of the camp. If you’re applying for both Preschool and Preschool camps, please select “JCCSF Diller Preschool & Camp” or “JCCSF Brotherhood Way Preschool & Camp.”

The Fees

A one-time non-refundable administrative fee of $40 is charged by FACTS for the application process. This fee will only be charged once per school year if you are also applying for financial aid for: Summer Camp and Preschools at the JCCSF. If you already have an account with FACTS through another educational institution and have already paid the administrative fee for the school year, the fee is waived. You need to add the JCCSF program as an additional school choice in your application.

The Documents

Once an online application has been completed, the following information needs to be sent to FACTS to complete the application process:

  • Copies of 2023 federal tax forms for both you and your spouse/co-applicant if applicable, including all supporting tax schedules.
  • Copies of your 2023 W-2 for both you and your spouse/co-applicant if applicable.
  • Copies of 2022 federal tax forms for both you and your spouse/co-applicant if you are not able to provide 2023 federal tax form before the deadline.
  • Statement of need – why you are requesting assistance. You may describe any changes of family and economic circumstances over the past year that support request for financial aid this year.

All supporting documentation can be uploaded on the FACTS secure website, faxed to 1-866-315-9264, or mailed to the address below. Uploaded documents must be in PDF format and the size of each document must be less than 20MB. Please be sure to include the applicant ID on all faxed or mailed correspondence. Please DO NOT use your mobile device to photo copy required documents due to problems with legibility.

Applications will not be reviewed until all the documents have been sent. FACTS will notify you if a document is missing. All documents received by FACTS are imaged upon receipt and then destroyed following the review process. You may login to your FACTS user account to review the status of your application. Please allow two weeks processing time from the date you provided the supporting documents before inquiring further about receipt and/or status of the uploaded or faxed documents.
