Over the last decade, Katie has brought her leadership, organizational development and strategic thinking to Bay Area Jewish organizations.  In her most recent role at The Kitchen, she acted as the Chief Operating Officer expanding the staff and scaling the organization to meet the demands of a growing community, focusing on growing the business functions of the organization to match its expansive vision.

Before The Kitchen, Katie spent seven years as the Associate Director at Camp Tawonga where she hired, trained and managed 200+ staff, led the camp’s accreditation process, innovated new programs and inspired staff to create magical experiences for campers every summer.

Katie is excited to join the team at JCCSF and knows firsthand the importance the JCC programs can have in the lives of the families in our community and beyond. Originally from Victoria, British Columbia, Katie now lives in San Francisco with her husband, two daughters and their animals.  When not at work she loves to travel and get outside with her family, hiking during the summers and skiing in the winter.
