Special guest Anita Diamant hosts the awards ceremony celebrating the winners of the 2008 Moment Magazine- Karma Foundation 2008 Short Fiction Contest. Hear readings from the winning stories.
Bestselling author Anita Diamant will also read from Day After Night, her new a novel about four young women refugees at Atlit, a British-run internment camp in Palestine after WWII. Established in 2000, the contest provides recognition to writers of Jewish short fiction, a legacy that includes writers as varied as Franz Kafka, Isaac Bashevis Singer and Cynthia Ozick.
